In 2001, Bob Hudak founded Merlin Labs, Inc., a company that specialized in immunoassay development and contract manufacturing. Ravi Pottathil and Pat Dillon were subsequently requested to serve as the Scientific Advisory Board for Merlin. In 2015, Bob, Ravi and Pat realized the added potential to a test development and manufacturing company if the talents of all 3 were incorporated into a single entity. Thus IDxDI was founded. He was the founder, owner and president of AccuDx, Inc. and I-Omega, and has held senior management positions at Zero Gravity Solutions, Inc., XL Tech Group, Specialty Laboratories, Specialty BioSystems, Roche Molecular Systems, Roche Diagnostic Systems, F. Hoffman La-Roche. Ravi's expertise resides in Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Molecular Biology, Operations, Regulatory (FDA and ISO), IVD Product Development and Systems Integration.
Pat has over 25 years experience in molecular biology and diagnostics. He was the founder, owner and president of Artisoptimus and has held senior management positions at Autogenomics, Invitrogen, Nanogen, Human Genome Sciences, and Johnson and Johnson. He also held positions at Roche Institute of Molecular Biology and the NIH. Pat's expertise resides in Immunology, Virology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genomics, Operations, Regulatory (FDA and ISO), IVD Product Development, Systems Integration and Engineering / Software Development Interfacing.
Bob has over 35 years experience in immunochemistry and diagnostics. He was the founder, owner and president of Merlin Labs, Inc, and held senior management positions at Quidel, Acon, ICN Biomedicals and Immuchem. He held positions at Strategic Diagnostics Inc. and Radioassay System Labs. Bob's expertise resides in Oganic Chemistry, Immunoassay, Particle Technology, Protein Chemistry, Manufacturing, QC, Regulatory (FDA and ISO), IVD Product Development and Operations.
